Children’s Ministry

Our Children’s Ministry area is called The Foundation because our volunteers and staff are committed to building a foundation of faith with our children. We believe raising a child in a church that is safe, loving, and faith filled is a gift that pays off for their whole life.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Children’s Ministry offers special events year-round for your children. This year’s special events are: Onward, Tacos and Tailgate, 4th & 5th Grade Mission and Movie Night, Northside’s Fall Festival, 4th & 5th Grade Wonderfully Made, Bible Boot Camp, Easter Eggstravaganza, End-of-year Bash and Vacation Bible School. Check the church calendar or email Children’s Ministry for more information.

CHILDREN’S SUNDAY MORNINGS

It is our privilege to help children experience God’s love on their level. Nursery is available for children ages 8 weeks through 5 years during all morning services. Sunday School is at 10:10AM for children ages 3 years (must be potty trained) through 5th grade. Classes are organized by grade level and include age-appropriate curriculum and activities. All volunteers have background checks and Safe Sanctuary training.

CHILDREN’S WEDNESDAY NIGHTS

Children ages 3 (must be potty trained) through 5th grade can join us after Children’s Choir in the Fellowship Hall from 5:45 to 7:00PM on Wednesday nights.  We offer craft activities, movement games, the bounce house and a fun interactive science experiment! There is nursery available for children below three years of age.

CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER

Northside Church Child Development Center is dedicated to being a high-quality learning environment. At its heart, our program creates a safe, loving, and faith-filled place, one that fosters positive growth and equips your child with the confidence to transition into Preschool.

We serve children from 8 weeks old up to children who will not turn 4 years old by September 1. We follow the Safe Sanctuary Guidelines established by the United Methodist Church by ensuring that at least two teachers are in each classroom regardless of the number of children.

WELCOME NEW BABY

At Northside, we are eager to celebrate and welcome new babies into our church family! The love and bond for a child is one of the strongest in existence, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to nurture your child in God’s love. When a baby is born or adopted, you are invited to call the Pastoral Care office or use the registration button below to let us know of your new addition. We can then include your baby’s name in the Sunday bulletin and provide information on all the learning-rich programming available to you and your little one.
