Youth Choir Tour
The Youth Choir of Northside United Methodist Church of Atlanta, Georgia will present its Annual Youth Choir Summer Tour from June 12 - June 20, 2010. This summer we plan to travel the east cost, stopping at churches along the way.
In the past 23 years, the Youth Choir has visited 41 states and Canada, singing praise to God. Representing many different schools in the North Atlanta area, these youth raise funds for their tour through a church wide Flea Market and a "Pledge Per Leg" program.

Children's Choirs
Children's Choir is a great way for children to develop musical and listening skills while learning that God loves them, no matter what.
Choirs meet in the Choir Room below the Sanctuary each Wednesday night. Please join us for music and fun!

Sanctuary Choir
Ages: High School and older
Rehearsal: First Sunday of every month, 8:00 a.m.
Sings traditional and contemporary music at the 8:30 a.m. service every Sunday and occasionally for special events.
Chancel Choir
Ages: College and older
Rehearsal: Wednesdays, 7:30-9:00 p.m.
Sings traditional anthems and hymns for the 11:00 a.m. service every Sunday, as well as for special events, including the annual Christmas Service of Readings and Carols and the special Lenten worship service on Palm Sunday.
Northside Ensemble
Ages: College and older
Rehearsal: Occasional Wednesdays, 9:00 p.m.
This small group selected from the Chancel Choir sings occasionally for special services and events.
Instrumental Groups
Northside Orchestra
Ages: High School and older
Rehearsal: One Sunday per month, 4:00-5:00 p.m.
Accompanies the traditional worship services approximately once per month throughout the school year. The Northside Orchestra is open to all interested players of high school age and older, and instruments are available for use if you do not have your own.
Northside Ringers
Ages: College and older
Rehearsal: Wednesdays, 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Open to all interested bell ringers of college age and older. Performs throughout the year in seasonal festivities and occasional worship services.
N.O.W. Worship Team
Ages: College and older
Rehearsal: Twice a month on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Leads worship at the N.O.W. service (Sunday, 9:50 a.m.) and other special services.
Drama Ministry
Ages: High School and older
Now in its eleventh season, Drama Ministry provides a creative outlet for Northside members as well as fellowship for the congregation. Past productions include "Cotton Patch Gospel," "Smoke on the Mountain," and most recently, "Godspell."
