Additional Worship Opportunities

Appointment With God

"Be still and know that I am God"
Psalm 46:10

You are invited to spend time with God in personal prayer, worship and meditation—the appointment has been made! This special opportunity, Appointment with God, features music with Chuck Bell (Director of Contemporary Worship) in the Fellowship Hall, which is transformed into a candlelit sanctuary. Sit and reflect; Kneel before the cross in prayer; Take time to journal. This appointment is designed to be a personal worship experience with no bulletin, no announcements, no spoken word, and no directions. Come for a few minutes, or stay the entire service.

"In this place of total acceptance, I was able to worship without any distractions and remained focused. The atmosphere was beautiful."
- Denise

"An Appointment with God" was two hours well spent! The atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous and provided me with a sense of peace that really allowed me to calm down from an extremely hectic day. The music was amazing! It was so helpful to hear it in the background because it helped guide my thoughts and nudge me in the direction of prayer without being intrusive. It was an excellent time to just get still and reconnect with God."
- Amy

"My appointment with God on March 15th at 2:30pm was awesome! It was just God and Me. I was so happy to have the opportunity to think clearly, to offer myself to the Lord and to thank Him for the many blessings in my life. Thank you Chuck for providing the experience and playing such beautiful music. I look forward to my next appointment."

A Service Of Healing & Hope

Strength From The Spirit

The holidays can be difficult for us all: the stresses and strains of trying to offer a time of celebration make demands on us. Many people find they have trouble feeling “in the spirit” of things, whether because of the death of a family member or friend, the end of a marriage, the loss of work, the loss of health or some other trying change. You are invited to come for the music, Scriptures, an uplifting message, silence, reflection, candles and prayer. For more information contact Dr. Ann Brightwell McCord, 678.298.6319.

White Christmas

For the past 20 years, the Children's Choirs have helped focus Christmas on the Christ Child with their humorous and heart-warming stories in song. White Christmas is also a day to give gifts to the children of Murphy-Harpst Children's Center in Cedartown, Georgia. Prior to White Christmas, you are given an opportunity to choose an ornament from the tree in the Atrium for Murphy-Harpst Camper Scholarships at Camp Evergreen next summer. For more information on Murphy-Harpst, contact Rev. Mace Hall, 678.298.5049.
