Northside COVID-19 Protocols

Revised September 2, 2021

  • Masks are encouraged for everyone, specifically when inside. Masks remain optional for those who are fully vaccinated and requested for those who are unvaccinated. The church staff will wear masks on Sundays while greeting the congregation as an act of hospitality and safety.
  • Masks are optional for vaccinated adults unless they are supervising children or youth indoors.
  • All children and youth ages 3 – 12th grade will wear masks indoors while under the care and direction of the Children or Student Ministry teams. This typically means from drop-off until pick-up. Parents will use their discretion about children and youth wearing masks in other parts of the building. No masks are required outside.
  • All volunteers and staff will wear masks indoors while supervising children and youth ages 3 – 12th grade. No masks are required outside.
  • Masks are optional for vaccinated adults unless they are supervising children or youth indoors. Masks are recommended for unvaccinated adults.
  • Park near and enter through the Lower Entrance, Main Entrance, and Wallace Garden Entrance to the Narthex. All other entrances will be closed.
  • Click here to see a map of designated entrances.
  • We continue to sanitize nightly and clean our spaces between each group and event.
  • In the Sanctuary, please sit in the designated rows and keep four seats between you and the next party. In the Watson Faith & Arts Center, please sit in designated seats.
  • Childcare and Children’s Ministries are available during the 9:00 and 11:15AM services. Registration is not required. Email MarieS@NorthsideUMC.org for questions. Children are also welcome in the worship services with you, and single-use worship bags are provided.
