I invite you to join us on an 11-day trip to the Holy Land. We will visit many Old and New Testament sites, literally walking in the footsteps of Jesus. Travel with Educational Opportunities

Educational Opportunities is the largest provider of Holy Land trips in the United States. I have traveled with them multiple times in the past and been pleased with their quality service. EO provides deluxe motor coaches, first class hotels, and experienced guides.

 

Group Travel

Group travel is different from traveling alone, and we are looking for HAPPY TRAVELERS who realize that good company enhances the journey. Over our 11 days together, we will have the opportunity to travel and worship together as a community of faith.

 

Physical Ability

People of all ages travel to the Holy Land; but parts of the trip are physically demanding. In addition to the plane flights and bus travel, we will walk varying distances each day. Some of the sites include irregular, rocky surfaces and multiple stairs. Passengers will want to be in good physical condition in order to enjoy the trip.

 

Cost

The brochure contains details about cost, payment schedules, optional travel insurance, etc. Most expenses are included with the exception of lunches, personal expenses, and driver/guide gratuities (see next section). Educational Opportunities estimates lunches will cost $10-$15 per day and suggests bringing $500 in spending money for meals, souvenirs, and other sundries. Bottled water is available on the bus for $1.

 

Gratuities

Gratuities for the driver and guide along with optional donations at some religious sites are not included in the tour cost. We will collect $125 per passenger before the trip to cover these expressions of gratitude. The host will not ask you for additional money on the trip.

 

Registration

The brochure has information about registration and other details. We can take a maximum of 40 passengers. The order of the list will be determined by the date that EO receives registrations. If the list exceeds 40 guests, then we will create a waiting list. Please note that the 2019 trip filled up quickly, and you are encouraged to register as soon as possible.

 

Interest and Orientation Meetings

We will host Interest Meetings in 2023 to provide additional information. Persons do not need to attend an interest meeting to participate. We will share basic information and answer questions.

We will schedule an Orientation Meeting two months prior to the trip for those traveling.
