Our Children’s Ministries area is called The Foundation because our volunteers and staff are committed to building a foundation of faith with our children. Every child deserves consistent, loving, and enthusiastic leaders in their faith lives!
Are you a 4th or 5th grader who loves to fellowship with kids your own age? We have a special Children’s Ministry program just for you! We get together once a month for fun, fellowship, food, and more. Past programs include: Stone Mountain Laser show, indoor rock climbing, dinner and movie night, and an overnight retreat. We also participate in mission and outreach programs.
CrossTrain is a cross-departmental program offered each Wednesday night, where our 3s and 4s can experience engaging music with Music Ministries, high-energy movement alongside Sports & Rec., and a biblically based message from Children’s Ministries.
Parents’ Morning Out (PMO) provides weekday morning childcare throughout the school year in a safe and learning-rich environment. It is available to both Northside congregants and the local community, and each caregiver is Safe Sanctuary trained.
In order to provide quality care, child/teacher ratios must be maintained in each classroom. Therefore, reservations are required, and limited spaces are available each day. Reservations can be made on the 15th of the current month for the upcoming month. Email PMO@NorthsideUMC.org and include your child’s name, current age, and days you would like to request. Tuition is as follows: $35/First Visit, $25/Second Visit, $20/Third-Fifth Visit (all in the same week).
Parents must complete an online registration form for each child, have a current Certificate of Immunization for the State of Georgia on file, and submit an annual registration fee of $60.
At Northside, we are eager to celebrate and welcome new babies into our church family! The love and bond for a child is one of the strongest in existence, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to nurture your child in God’s love. When a baby is born or adopted, you are invited to call the Pastoral Care office or use the registration button below to let us know of your new addition. We can then include your baby’s name in the Sunday bulletin and provide information on all the learning-rich programming available to you and your little one.
