Advent / Christmas

Advent 2018

Christmas Eve Worship

Please check back soon for Christmas Eve worship times. We traditionally have early afternoon, family-oriented services, a late afternoon Contemporary service, and Traditional evening services that include communion and candlelight.

Advent Devotional

Each year, we publish a daily devotional for Advent. This is meant to be a meaningful and thought-provoking way to engage in the season. Devotional is written by James Johnson, our Director of Adult Discipleship.

December Events

Throughout December, we have a variety of offerings and events where you can engage the Christmas season in heartfelt, meaningful ways.

You can stop by the church throughout November or December to sign up to purchase a requested gift from either our Murphy-Harpst Christmas tree (hosted by United Methodist Women) or our Mission Giving Tree (hosted by Missions). We traditionally also sell poinsettias to honor loved ones and Christmas trees to support missions.

We also have several offerings for youth including a Rising Star Holiday Hoops Clinic, a 6th-12th Grade Christmas party, holiday trips and festivities for elementary kids, and Christmas in the Ark. As the season approaches, you’ll be able to find more information on these events and others by visiting our Events & Registration page.
